I thought I'd better ask myself a few questions by way of virtual introduction. Some of you who know me might even find out a thing or two...
- Hair colour? The curious orange!
- Height? Five foot six and a half (important half)
- Piercings? Three in the left ear, two in the right
- Tattoos? Considering, but what won't look daft when I'm dribbling in a nursing home? ("Iron Maiden: Fear Of The Dark Tour '92" on my backside has now been ruled out)
- Worst habit? Rhinotillexomania
- Favourite current records? Stars, 'Ageless Beauty' ; Alfie, 'Your Own Religion' ; Elbow, 'Forget Myself'
- Favourite album? Ever? That's a lot of thinking and a post in itself. Last bought - The Editors, 'The Back Room'. Last listened to - The Stills 'Logic Will Break Your Heart'.
- Favourite new word? Rhinotillexomania (look it up... learnt it in a pub quiz last week)
- Favourite drink? Tea and Southern Comfort (not together!)
- What depresses you? The usual trio of war, intolerance and unnecessary suffering. Also the shop near me which sells second-hand wheelchairs (because it makes me think about what happened to the previous owners)
- Favourite hangout? Mos Eisley Cantina
- Which single store would you max out your credit card? We-ell, cheating a bit with Selfridges Oxford Street (they have a HMV in the basement, plus a bookshop)
- Where would you like to live? By the sea, or on the Yorkshire Moors (slight logistical errors in doing both at the same time, as global warming isn't that bad. Yet)
- What keeps you awake at night? Insomnia
- Do you believe in life after death? Sure
- What about fate? Even more so
- Best thing in life? Blimey... probably Music (seconded by football)
- How would you like to be remembered? My only proviso is that it must mean something special to the person in question
