Per Ardua ad Astra

Yesterday, following the Red Arrows' display at the Bournemouth Air Show, Flight Lieutenant Jon Egging (aka. Red 4) crashed and died. I find this so very sad.

This was taken from the Vale at Silverstone, 10th July 2011, before the Formula 1 British Grand Prix. He was new on the Red Arrows team this year, making this the only time I saw him fly.

I have been a fan of the Red Arrows for years. The heritage is strong, the team spirit stronger.
