Glastonbury

A week in a muddy field, and so much to say. It was the first year I'd worked Glastonbury (stewarding for Oxfam again), so arriving on Tuesday afternoon and walking round the perimeter of a near-empty site that evening were new experiences.
All the old favourites are still there, added to by the new Park field/stage at the top of the Home Park camping ground with its own ribbon tower for amazing views.
Top performances of the festival go to the Arcade Fire, Bright Eyes, CSS, the Chavs, the Klaxons, Get Cape Wear Cape Fly, Pigeon Detectives, "uncle" Billy Bragg, Super Furry Animals, Madness ("secret" midnight gig in the Lost Vagueness Ballroom), the Bees, and even Chas & Dave provoked a giggle and a boogie!

Legendary.
