Impressive venue, which has obviously had a lot of work done to it since the 'leaky roof' stories of a couple of years ago (thus spake the long-time Private Eye subscriber), and looks a bit flash...
The big problem, however, is the sound. Don't go on level 4. Ever. The top seats are above the level of the speakers, and all you get is distortion.
Great gig, though (after I'd bunked into level 1). But I'm still slightly perturbed about Ashcroft's blond hair-dye job....
